CMJ: Dominique takes Manhattan October 20!

get ready NYC, we’re coming!

I’ll play this year’s CMJ Music Marathon festival on October 20th at Local269 in Manhattan. And here’s the twist: joining me will be the Deviant Septet, a classical ensemble based on the instrumentation for Igor Stravinsky’s L’histoire du Soldat. Stay tuned for more info, but this is gonna be a show to remember!!!

In other news, I am almost done mixing the live performance of Les Noces, to be included on the Kickstarter-funded CD (also including our studio recording of the piece). Most of these CDs will go straight to our generous Kickstarter backers, but fear not, I’ll have a few left to sell at shows!

Also, all remixes for my upcoming EP on Paris’ Upcode Records have arrived, so expect a release later this year. This dance music, like nothing I’ve ever released, and am super proud with how it came out.

And in still further developments, I recently recorded basic instrumental tracks for my next proper album, featuring my live band (Jordan Glenn, Ava Mendoza and Aaron Novik). I will be working on this record for the next few months, so expect that sometime next year.
